We do a preliminary survey of the business and
listen to your thoughts and aspirations for your
business to determine the extent of help you
need. By learning the basic facts we can place
it in perspective with your goals. We believe
there is no substitute for quality, and we build
our business on this principle. There is no
single tried and proven way that is tailored to
start and develop all businesses alike, but
proper planning is of the utmost importance. We
use eight steps to guide you through the very
complex process from start to implementation:
- You identify the product or services.
Everything will evolve around this as a primary
focus.
- Do a feasibility study of the market and
other variables.
- At this stage, you should determine whether
it would be better to buy an existing business
or start a new one.
- Your next focus is strategic planning whereby
you determine the objectives and mission of the
business, etc.
- In the operational planning stage, budgeting,
setting standards, policies, etc. are carefully
spelled out.
- In the financial planning stage, make sure
that the business is properly capitalized. You
should also project income and locate new
capital if insufficient capital is available.
- Refine all of the above into a workable
platform, or what we sometimes call a business
plan.
- The final stage is where you put all the
plans to work, known as the implementation
process.
